Enrollment Overview

Stifel Wealth Tracker is available for free on the Apple Store, Google Play Store, and in your web browser at https://tracker.stifel.com/.  The enrollment process begins by indicating whether or not you have Stifel accounts and then entering a few key pieces of information.  If you have Stifel accounts, we will need to verify your account and identity. Once enrolled, you can login through various devices so that your up-to-date financial data is always within reach.

Enrollment Guide

1. Begin Enrollment

Click Sign Up in the upper right hand corner to begin the enrollment process.  You will initially be asked to check a box indicating whether or not you have a Stifel account.  You will then enter your email address, mobile phone number, name, username and password.  Important points about your username and password include:

  • Username
    • Username should be between 8 and 16 characters
    • Should not contain the following characters:  , ! % * / ‘
  • Password
    • Must be between 8 and 16 characters

Why you do need my phone number for enrollment?

Stifel Wealth Tracker requires every new account to provide a phone number for Multi-Factor Authentication. Your phone number will not be used for any other purpose.

Click Continue to enter your new account information.

2. Your Stifel Account Information

After the initial information required for enrollment in Wealth Tracker, Stifel clients will complete steps to verify both their Stifel account information as well as their identity.  In order to verify your Stifel account you will be asked to provide three key pieces of information:

  1. Your Stifel Account Number (this should be an account that you are associated with as an owner i.e. Single, Joint, Trust account, etc.)
  2. Your Date of Birth
  3. Your Social Security Number

Press Continue to proceed to verifying your Stifel account.

Why do I have to enter my social security number?

We use your social security number to identify any account you either own or are associated with.  Wealth Tracker will incorporate several functions that securely allow you to view certain document types, move money between both your Stifel accounts and an outside institution you designate, view many of your important account documents and more!  The “client-centric” approach of tying the accounts you own, or are associated with, by your social security number allows us to deliver these important services to you in a safe and secure manner.

NOTE:  Your Social Security number is not displayed anywhere in Wealth Tracker.  It is simply used for enrollment and account verification purposes.

3. Verification Information

After successfully entering your Stifel account information, you will now be asked a series of questions to help us verify your identity.  This step will enable the functionality to securely view your important account documents and use many of the services available to Stifel clients within Wealth Tracker.

Once we verify your Stifel accounts and have completed the review you will then be able to view your accounts within the Wealth Tracker profile.

Click Continue for Email and Phone Number verification.

I answered my verification questions wrong. What should I do?

The questions you are being asked are for identity verification purposes and are designed to be easily answered.  There are times, however that people are not able to accurately answer these questions.  In the event that you answer the questions incorrectly and are prevented from progressing to the next stage of enrollment, you can either call your Stifel Financial Advisor or Client Services at (866) 697-8433 Monday through Friday from 6 am to 7pm CT or Saturday from 7:30am to 4pm CT and we can assist you with completing this part of the enrollment process.

4. Email and Phone Number Verification

Congratulations! Your account has been created and you are about to log in for the first time. Before you do, there is one more security measure protecting your account: Device Registration.

Every time you log in to Stifel Wealth Tracker from a new device, you will be asked verify your login using Multi-Factor Authentication. Once verified, you can choose to Register Your Device or Browser. If you register your device, you will not need to perform multi-factor verification on this device in the future.

5. Review and Accept Terms of Use Agreement

After successful validation, a Terms of Use Agreement will display.  Please review and select “I Accept” if you agree and wish to continue.

Future logins may require device verification, prompting you to provide a Secure Access Code delivered via text or e-mail. To avoid this step, select Register Device.

When should I choose to register a device?

Registering a device allows you to bypass the Multi-Factor Authentication.  You should only register private, trusted, personal devices.

Common Questions

Why did I receive a notice that my Account Share Preferences changed when I logged in for the first time?

If you are a Stifel client, it is possible to share a read-only view of your Stifel accounts with other users of Stifel Wealth Tracker. In some cases, Stifel accounts that are part of a common household will be pre-configured for sharing when you enroll.

This initial sharing is only for your convenience. You are always in control of what accounts you share, and with whom. You can manage your Share Preferences from the Shared Accounts Screen

I have a Stifel client account, but I created my Wealth Tracker account without linking it during enrollment. What should I do?

You can link your Stifel accounts at any time. Use the Menu to go to the Manage Accounts page, and start the linking process by pushing the Connect Stifel Accounts button. You will be guided through the same additional verification that you would have completed during enrollment.
